Dorothy Bradshaw (b.1897) Landscape Watercolour Painting

£95.00

A charming countryside scene in watercolour painted by listed 20th Century artist Dorothy Bradshaw.

Bradshaw's delicate, yet expressive washes of colour are built up to create a hazy depiction of this typical English countryside landscape on a summers day.

Dorothy Bradshaw, painter, born in Calcutta, India 1897. She studied art under Jack Merriott in Polperro, Cornwall, and went on to exhibit at the Chelsea Art Society, Leighton House Museum, the RI and SWA. She died in Budleigh Salterton, Devon. Conditon is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and mount burn, otherwise in good condition. Supplied unframed.
